Aspie Guide ("the App") is developed by John Wonmo Seong / Orchestr, Inc. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require account creation, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not transmit your data to our servers.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• App settings (breathing pattern preferences, theme, audio preferences)
• OpenAI API key (if you choose to use the AI Chat Assistant feature)
• Chat messages (conversation history within the AI Chat Assistant)

This data never leaves your device except as described in Section 3 below. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the App.

3. Third-Party Services

OpenAI API (optional): If you choose to use the AI Chat Assistant feature, you must provide your own OpenAI API key. When you send a message, it is transmitted directly from your device to OpenAI's servers. Aspie Guide does not intermediate, store, or have access to these messages on any server we control. OpenAI's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use apply to this data.

Expo / React Native: The App is built using Expo and React Native. Expo may collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostics. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The educational content is intended for adolescents and adults.

5. Data Security

Your API key and settings are stored using your device's standard secure storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage). No data is transmitted to servers we operate.

6. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. You can:

• Delete your API key from within the App
• Clear conversation history from within the App
• Clear all app data through your device's settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all associated data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

By using Aspie Guide, you agree to these terms.

• The App provides educational content and self-help tools. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Quiz results and self-assessments are informational only and are not diagnostic tools.
• The AI Chat Assistant uses OpenAI's API with your own key. You are responsible for your API usage and associated costs.
• The article content ("Coping: A Survival Guide for People with Asperger Syndrome") was originally written by Marc Segar and is provided for educational purposes.
