If you encounter a bug, have a feature request, or need help with the app, the best way to reach us is through GitHub:
Where are my notes stored?
Exclusively on your device. Plato makes zero network requests. There is no cloud, no server, no sync. Your notes exist only in your hands.
Can I recover a note after it disappears?
No. When a note's timer expires, it is permanently deleted from your device. This is by design — it's the core feature of the app.
Can I manually delete a note before it expires?
Yes. Open any note and tap the flame icon to burn it instantly.
What timer options are available?
You can set notes to disappear after 5 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days.
Does the app collect any data or analytics?
No. Plato contains no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is this app really free?
Yes. Plato is free, open source, and contains no ads or in-app purchases.
Can I contribute to the project?
Absolutely. Plato is open source and we welcome contributions. Fork the repository, make your changes, and submit a pull request.
For support inquiries, please open a GitHub issue. We typically respond within a few days.
